Azul Editions, an independent literary press, was founded in 1986. We publish poetry, prose, essays, literary/art theory and criticism, journals, speeches, broadsides, manifestos, etc.

Our aim is to build a working library which serves to heighten the consciousness of our readers and accompany them in their struggles for economic, political and social justice.

Azul Editions' current and planned titles include the following writers and artists: Roque Dalton, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Henry David Thoreau, Pablo Neruda, César Vallejo, Erich Fried, F.D. Reeve, Leonel Rugama, Jorge Sanjinés, Jacques Roumain, Alexander Taylor, Robert Bagg, Grandin Conover, Matilde Herrera, George Grosz, John Heartfield, Wieland Herzfelde, Leonid Andreyev, Bertolt Brecht, Doug Anderson, elin O'hara slavick, Matthew Dickman, John Berger, Alfred Hayes, Aharon Shabtai, James Scully, and others.
