************************************ |
Azul Editions, a small independent press, was founded in 1986 and published books of poetry, fiction and non-fiction until 1997. Now, after an eight year hiatus, we have resumed publication of handsomely produced and affordable books.
Azul Editions publishes poetry, prose, essays, literary and art criticism, speeches, broadsides, manifestos, etc.
Our goal is to build a small working library, a bookshelf or two, which serves to heighten the consciousness of our readers and accompany them in their struggles for economic, political and social justice.
Azul Editions' current, forthcoming and planned titles include the following writers and artists: Roque Dalton, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Henry David Thoreau, Pablo Neruda, César Vallejo, Erich Fried, F.D. Reeve, Leonel Rugama, Jorge Sanjinés, Jacques Roumain, Alexander Taylor, Robert Bagg, Grandin Conover, Matilde Herrera, George Grosz, John Heartfield, Wieland Herzfelde, Leonid Andreyev, and others.
We welcome unsolicited manuscripts: we do read them. Before submitting, we ask that you please email us with a brief description of your submission. Thank you.
